SERGEY DECENNIUM JUBILEE (I) SERGEY’S DEBUT
Today, June 23rd 2020, it is exactly 10 years ago, Sergey Yaroslavtsev had his debut posing in front of the camera of Andrey Vishnyakov [@vishstudio]. Sergey had just turned 16 at May 7th and proved to be a natural posing talent. Working out his body as a teen, he was able to develop a perfect muscle definition. This, combined with his capability to find natural aesthetic poses, made him a perfect model for aesthetic physique photographer Andrey Vishnyakov, a fellow citizen of Saint Petersburg, who had been working professionally since at least two years before. Among his earliest models range Maksim (2008), Tolik (2009 and 2010) and Igor Vitovich (2010). In his early work, Andrey had been experimenting with references to bondage (‘rope series’) and fetish clothing.
In 2010 Andrey did several photo shoots of Tolik, as well as shoots of a few young men with a rather similar physique compared to that of Sergey, such as Nikita Gutu and notably Roman, the anonymous model appearing in shoots of April 13th and June 1st. 2010 actually seems the crucial year in which Andrey developed his personal artistic signature. In the historical debut shoot, Sergey was wearing a pair of red jeans with a black belt. In one shot Sergey wears sunglasses; in another one he is handling a sword. Until now, nine photographs have been published, two of these by @vishstudio himself, another seven I hosted on my gallery.
The next photo shoot was at September 9th of 2010. Over the next ten years Andrey Vishnyakov did several photo shoots. Many of these have produced outstanding photographs and series of photographs, which not only show the impressive development of Sergey’s physique, becoming a bodybuilding champion; these photographs also are an important artistic account of a rare collaboration between one of the greatest physique photographers of our age and his muse. Do check out the many great shots of Sergey by @vishstudio and @vishnyakov.pro! I congratulate these wonderful men and hope their artistic collaboration and friendship will last for many more decades. Hopefully we will see many more great photographs proving this!
