Very interesting. The overall impression of the photo is a calm and centered, almost :meditation: one, yet the way the sword is held gives it an underlying, subtle, aggressive counterpoint. I don't know if this was intentional or not but holding a sword/offering it to someone else with the sharp edge in front is considered an aggressive stance because you can still easily cut the person in front of you. In any case: Amazing photo :heart:

Gorgeous lighting once again... Somehow you always capture beautiful men in beautiful lighting, then transform those photos into something even more powerful by removing the color (sometimes the color just makes them even more amazing). This is a photo with a lot of emotion that leaves you wanting more--why is he at the razor's edge? At the same time, this can function as a great reference photo for musculature and also for the way his head is tipped down, and his palms are up. Wonderful work =]
