It's not disfigured or photoshopped. The shadows on her skin are what you're seeing. If you look close you can see the actual outline of her waist, which is perfectly normal. She's very fit, so she's going to be very slim. I hope that clears things up.
No I saw it all.It doesn't fit the upper part of her body which is too large to be proportioned right.I'm sure she's well fit, but it doesn't change that the photo has been altered. Now don't get me wrong, it's very well captured, lighting perfect, and the model has a nice facial expression, but the waist has been slimmed down, and some times that isn't all bad but they ignore the top part of her body, and made her already thin middle thinner, leaving her upper body out of place. It looks like they pasted the top to the bottom that way.
Are you talking about how you can't see the entirety of her rib cage? The angle her arm is at will hide the arch of her ribs and back. Plus the view point is a little high, also concealing the curve of her back and ribs. Not to mention that while her waist is being seen mostly from the side, her upper body is turned slightly more towards the viewer.
You have to think about the fact that a woman's rib cage is also smaller the a man's and less obvious in a pose like this one. If you grab an anatomy book and redline this picture, you'll see everything is where it should be.
Besides, =vishstudio doesn't alter his pictures. That's what makes his stuff such good reference material.
I'm sure that he has some good pictures but in this case the bottom proportions have been changed. The hips and shoulders don't match up.The hips are to thin and the shoulders to broad not to mention her head's to big. While yes at an angle and taking the fact a woman's rib cage is smaller, the body could appear smaller, but i'm well adverse in my anatomy, and if you were to ask any one who has a degree in it, they will tell you that the hips and shoulders , even at an angle, have been changed. But feel free to disregard me,I was merely stating my observations.
*shrugs* I tried this pose in the mirror and got the same results as the photo(was curious). Looks like we'll have to just agree to disagree. You could always ask =vishstudio, though. He's an honest, straight forward kind of guy and probably won't have any problem answering a question or two.
Meh it just looks off to me.Well if he's willing he can always reply to my first comment or what not.I wont bother him with this on his profile.Starts drama over nothing most times and that would be bothersome to him no doubt.
